The ICE Privacy Waiver (form 60-001) lets someone you trust request information and/or records about you if needed. It's kind of like designating an emergency contact access to your information if you are detained by ICE. If ICE detains you unexpectedly, somebody you trust will be able to get information about you.

When should I fill out an ICE privacy waiver?
Because it can be difficult to get this form completed once somebody has been detained, it is best to fill it out pre-emptively.
Who should I designate?
Any third party can be listed to receive information, including but not limited to:
-
family member
-
neighbour
-
congressional office

It just needs to be somebody you trust!
